6 killed, 10 injured in family dispute in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least six persons, including three women, two men and one minor, while ten others were injured as opponent group opened in Wah Cant area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

According to Wah Cant SHO, the firing took place in Losar Sharfoo area of Wah Cant. The incident happened due to a family dispute. Hamza, the accused who opened fire was the nephew of murdered Fauzia, he said.

The armed accused managed to escape after the firing.

The dead bodies of the killed were handed over to the heirs after postmortem.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old student identified as Tauqeer Abbasi was killed due to firing between two student groups of Asghar Mall College of Bani area of Rawalpindi.

The youth belonged to Murree. His dead body was shifted to Holy Family Hospital.

The police started investigation by checking the accused.
